If you are the first user, you must create your company account (use your legal company name).
Just follow the onboarding flow and register by using your phone number and/or email. App users will receive a four (4) digit pin code to enter the smartphone app.
Administrators must use that in the smartphone app, but change it to a real password in the web app. When your account is set up, you will see an empty folder for you to use.
No action needed to participate
The SoMeCentral smartphone app will automatically upload each file as quickly as possible.
The user does not need to take action to transfer files. That is the job of SoMeCentral.
Extra and optional
Write your own personal text for each photo and video if you like. It can used as a short information to your administrator for social media, or as technical information if you are using SoMeCentral for documentation.
Any smartphone app user can create local events, and all app users can join to create content.
The user can create events for all the departments connected to the user in SoMeCentral.
If a customer account does not have any departments, or the user is set up with no department connected to the user, then the user can make global events as well.
Why can the app user create events?
If a company is large or spread out over multiple departments, then it is impossible for an administrator to know everything that is happening.
It can be the small celebration of a co-worker having an anniversary, or any other special event not known by everyone in the organization.
Creating events also makes the account administrator able to understand the circumstances, in which content was created, and provides the administrator with valuable background information that can be used on postings originating for the individual event.

We are happy to use the SoMeCentral tool. We are using it on a daily basis on our customer locations, partly for internal use and documentation, but mostly for building a great case and reference database.
