SoMeCentral has two user levels – App users and Administrators
An administrator is the first user by default. It is possible to change the administrator function to other users in your organization. The administrator has all rights to invite and revoke app users and to delete or approve incoming photos and videos.
An app user is a content creating part of the SoMeCentral system. An app user can create photos and videos, as well as local events. The app user can share information about the SoMeCentral app and system, but not invite directly.

SoMeCentral version 1.0 will is English only.

The PUSH function is a manual action, where you as the creator of a photo or video can bypass the default 30 minutes where you can delete a photo or video before the Administrator can see your content.
The SoMeCentral upload is automatic, and to provide the content creator with a possibility to delete content sent by mistake; we are putting all content in a 30 minutes “suspend” mode. So that content uploaded automatically to the backend will be visible to the administrator, only after a 30-minute wait.
Under normal conditions this is fine, but eventually content is made in a “live mode” environment and is needed by your marketing or social media department right away. When this is the case, the app user can use the PUSH function, on selected photos or videos, and make them visible to your administrator as soon as the content is on the SoMeCentral server.
We do not plan to make an app for Windows Phone at this moment.
The back-end system is an independent web-app.

As an app user, you will have access to the photos and videos in your local camera roll, nothing else.
The administrator will have access to all user approved photos and videos, that have been uploaded to the backend system.
As an app user, you can create local events in the department assigned to you. Set a period for the event, and write a short text about it.
Your event is then added to the event list, and everybody can join, and create content for it.
An event made by Administrator
An administrator can create global/top-level events as well as local events. The administrator must set the time for the event, and add a short description.
The event is assigned to the event list, and everybody can join the event and create content.
Write a great but short event description for your event
The event description is a great feature for any administrator or visitor to tap into. A good description makes it easy to find the correct event, as well using the description in itself as a source of inspiration for creating great social media.
In short, your description tells the story.
